general information
two types of parc from siblu
We rent pitches for mobile homes on European parcs, owned and operated by local owners, these are called siblu selection parcs. Our siblu parcs are owned and operated by us. Holiday homes may either belong to the company or be rented from the owners on the parcs.
arrival & departure times
Accommodation is available from 4pm. Please arrive between 4pm and 8pm when our Representatives will meet you. Most sites close their gates at 10pm; if you arrive later you will have to leave your car outside and walk to your accommodation. At our sites in Italy the gates are usually closed to cars during lunchtime and early afternoon. You must claim your accommodation by 10am on the day after your holiday is due to start, or we will treat your booking as cancelled with no refund given (see cancellation conditions on the t's & c's page). Please vacate your accommodation by 10am on the day you leave.
disabled guests
We provide as much advice and information as possible to disabled and handicapped people wishing to holiday at our sites. Some siblu parcs have mobile homes specially adapted for wheelchair users, but some guests may also need able-bodied help. Please contact us before booking as not all sites or accommodation are suitable for disabled guests, and wheelchair access may be limited.
confirmation invoice
Please check the details of your Confirmation Invoice carefully. If there are any problems contact our administration team immediately on 0871 911 2288.
prices shown on this website
Please note all example prices shown on this website are based on 2 adults sharing the holiday home specified. All children under 18 go FREE. Additional adults are charged at £9 per night, per adult. All prices illustrated can be booked online (subject to availability), using our online reservation system, which can accessed by clicking on price & book.
swimming pools
Please pack conventional fitted swimwear; shorts or T shirts may not be permitted in many pools. Inflatables etc. may be banned in swimming pools, and there is a general minimum height restriction of 1 metre for anyone using waterslides.
driving abroad
It is not a legal requirement, but we strongly recommend that guests take out a Green Card to guarantee comprehensive insurance cover. Speak to your insurance company for more details. We do not accept responsibility for damage caused to vehicles by a third party. Holders of an old style green licence must obtain a translation for driving in Italy, which you can get from the AA or RAC, even if you?re not a member. A new style pink EU licence is sufficient. Bail bonds for Spain are required but are not provided with siblu's insurance.
passport & health matters
For UK nationals, a valid passport is required for everyone included in the holiday booking. A full 10 year passport is required to visit France, Spain and Italy. Lost, stolen and new passports will take one week minimum to replace. ABTA advises people to check they have a valid passport before making their holiday booking. No visas are required for UK nationals. Visas may be required by non-EU passport holders for entry into France, Spain & Italy. It is the customer?s responsibility to have the relevant documentation and no refunds will be given if the customer fails to do so. Information on health matters can be obtained from the DOH leaflet 'Health Advice for Travellers' (T5) available at your Travel Agent or Department of Health or Post Office Counters.
pets
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pets in our accommodation. However, some pets may be present on our parcs.
barbecues
Wherever site rules permit, we provide gas or charcoal barbecues. We do not provide the charcoal. Local authorities may impose restrictions on the use of barbecues during the season, so barbecues may have to be withdrawn without notice.
siblu & the environment
Our brochure is recyclable. It is sourced from recyclable paper from managed sustainable softwood forests and from companies who take ecological consideration of all aspects of the production chain. Our brochure paper is "elementary chlorine-bleach free" creating practically no impact on the environment in its manufacture and containing no dioxyns (other than natural traces). No tropical hardwood is used.
bugs
During the season mosquitoes and other bugs may be present on any of our sites.
bedlinen
At all our parcs, duvets or blankets and pillows are provided in mobile homes, but you need to take your own bedlinen. At siblu parcs bedlinen packs and duvets can be pre-booked online. At siblu selection parcs towel and linen packs are for available for hire, but these must be pre booked 4 weeks prior to arrival by calling 0871 911 2288, quoting your booking reference. For multi-parc breaks, you will be charged the per person rate at each parc visited.
siblu baby pack
The standard baby pack available on our siblu selection parcs consists of a high chair, cot and baby bath. These can be hired on a nightly rate. Our siblu parcs also offer the following Maxi Pack items: buggy, steam steriliser, baby beach tent, beach pack with a bucket and spade set and a ball in a handy bag. All items can be pre-booked online at the time of purchase. We cannot guarantee that baby packs will be available on parc unless they are pre-booked.
children's club entertainers
All children?s club entertainers have taken part in our training programme. It's difficult to recruit and train entertainers at short notice, so there may be occasions when we can't run the children's clubs due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
three children's clubs at siblu parcs
At our 10 siblu parcs, three clubs operate during the whole season, one for 1-4 year olds, one for 5-9 year olds and one for 10-14 year olds. If there are insufficient numbers to justify three groups, combined children's club sessions may be held.
easter children's clubs
At the majority of our siblu selection parcs the children's clubs run from 26 May to 1 September (please check parc details for specific dates). The children's clubs may be available from Easter at: Les Charmettes, Domaine de Kerlann, La Réserve, La Carabasse, Le Bois Masson, La Pignade, Le Lac des Rêves, La Baume, El Delfin Verde. Please on the individuals parc information pages for more details on this.
bubbles
Bubbles clubs run at 10 siblu parcs and 3 siblu selection parcs. Parents must remain and supervise their children throughout all Bubbles sessions or when using any Bubbles facility. We try to accommodate everyone who wants to join in, but numbers are limited, so each session operates on a first come, first served basis. A full programme may not operate at parcs not owned by siblu. L'Hippocampe arranges supervised play sessions.
responsibility for children
siblu's children's clubs, Bubbles, Club Pirate & Barracuda, are purely for children's entertainment. They are not childcare facilities, and children remain the responsibility of parents at all times. For safety reasons, numbers may be limited. The children's clubs are free, but certain activities may incur a charge.
siblu games
A variety of games are available at each site. Games and toys can be borrowed for a small deposit.
holidays outside july & august
The main holiday season in Europe is from the start of July to the end of August, when facilities are in full swing. At siblu parcs, the vast majority of facilities are open throughout the season (see parc pages). The availability of facilities is reflected in the holiday prices for that time. Whilst many facilities are available in June and early September, some may be unavailable, as the third party parc owners may open facilities at their discretion, depending on demand. data protection
